About Us and Our History

Victoria Travel Shoppe Ltd. was opened in early 1976 by Colin and Jeannie Tremblay. It opened as a franchise operation by the name of Travel Network. Over the next couple of years the name changed to Johnson Street Travel because of it's location, and then finally Victoria Travel Shoppe Ltd.

In February of 1984, the agency was sold to the current owners, John Chew, Peter Leung and David Spaven. On July 01, 1985, the agency moved to 1622 Government Street.
 
In March 2006, The Victoria Travel Shoppe merged with Vision 2000 Travel Group Vancouver and together acquired Blaney's downtown office.  Our new name -  Vision 2000 BC Travel Group Victoria.

We have moved, our name has changed, but are counsultants are the very best and are always happy to help you with any travel arrangments.

Vision 2000 Travel Group Victoria  is located in downtown Victoria, right next to the main library downtown, just off Douglas Street, along the alleyway behind  the Stratcona Hotel.  Our entrance is in the courtyard.
